I have a 2000 Starcraft 1810 LX w/4.3 liter engine/Alpha One outdrive. Last season my speedometer and fuel gauge stop working.
Fuel Gauge - I took the fuel gauge out of the tank and the tube was filled with water and the 'board' (the piece inside the tube) was very corroded. I emtied the water, cleaned off the board put everything back together and still does not work. Is there a way to test to verify the piece in the tank is bad? What is the best way to replace/repair?
Speedometer - My speedometer stopped working last year. I read online that this could be a result of debris, weeds, etc getting lodge in the intake (petcocks) for the speedometer. First where is/are these petckocks located? Second how do I clean them?
