I own a 2004 340 sundancer with the 8.1 mercs. I typically run the boat at 3200 to 3300 rpms at 23kts. My smartcraft system says that I am burning 27 gph which gets me about .4mpg. This does not seem vey good to me at all. I have friends with boats that are in the 18000 LBS range and they all get about 1 to 1.2 mph at the same speed. I have had my props scanned and the boat runs great. I was curious as to whether other owners get the same.
