Second year- same problem...1999 volvo 5.0, Holley 2bbl, prestolite ign (no points). Engine starts and runs great EXCEPT at 4300 rpm..(last year was 4000 rpm). Engine bogs or "flattens out". Pushing thru, Im able to attain wot of 4600. All standard items done-new cap, rotor, fuel filters , plugs..wires only 2 yrs old. Any direction that you can give me will be much appreciated. Is there anything I should do before I pull the carb, cause I HATE to go there. If I do pull it , is there a specific area to look for a problem?.....thanks for ANY suggestions
