Howdy,
on 3.0 OMC I have a hose that comes off what looks like the fuel pump or a fuel regulator. I say fuel pump or fuel regulator because its just downstream of the fuel filter and very close to the oil filter bolted on the side of the engine. It is a black vacuum hose but the hose is in bad shape. I traced where the hose goes to and it looks like it goes to nothing, it just looks like it lies in the bilge. What is this hose for and is it important to replace or just leave it be?
