Fuel Stabilizer

I use the marine (blue ) Stabil. Works great.

I use the blue Stabil also - in the boat and lawn equipment. Been running ethanol for about two years, no issues.

I just buy Valv-tect marine gas so the gas is always stabilized when new & fresh , and only add a little red Sta-Bil to run through just prior to winter storage. The red Sta-Bill has a lot more %(~ 2+ x?) of stabilizer than their blue marine ethanol "treatment." Note the name on the marine bottle doesn't say stabilizer. The red does.

I use the red Stabil for winter storage with no problems. Usually get it in Wal-Mart where it seems to be cheapest.

+1 for Startron. When I was working through fuel problems earlier this year, I tried several additives to fulesmaples in Mason jars. StarTron definitely cleaned up the fuel the best. I have used Stabil and Sea Foam as well, but after this set of issues, I believe in StarTron

I also use the red Stabil and get it at Wal-Mart. I try not to use ethanol gas and haven't since '09 when I kind of got forced to but I burned through all of it anyway. Speaking of ethanol when I filled up on our cruise this summer the gas dock staff at Cedar Point Marina (Ohio) told me that they were not allow to refer to the gas as non-ethanol anymore. According to them there is a tiny tiny bit in it now, anybody else heard this or is it just there supplier???
