I've got four steel diesel fuel tanks and I would like to add another fuel pickup to each tank for an independent fuel polishing system. I am looking to drill a single hole next to the inspection openings. I will open the inspection ports, which are about 8" diameter, and hold a container inside the tank to catch the drill shavings. I need the penetration fitting (may be called a bulkhead fitting) and a connector tube that will go within 0.25 inch of the bottom. Clearance at the top of the tank is limited, so I will need a 90 degree fitting with which I will connect the ½ “ fuel tubing. Any sources for this hardware? Boatfix?
