I have a 1984 26 foot Santa Cruz and I want to replace the sending unit (again) as it has been an on going problem. Does anyone have or know the exact part replacement number? Can/would someone please measure the depth of their tank, the outside measurement is close enough...mine is an aluminum 100 gal tank. My boat is in the Bahamas and I am in NH and my ruler won't quite reach that far.
Next I have a new 2005 mercruiser 350 engine with a volvo penta SX outdrive, can anyone take a guess at the model number of the outdrive stern bracket???And the volvo outdrive gasket set number???
Next I want to add a engine flush kit by volvo penta to neutralize the salt. I have a fresh water recirculating system so the internal engine water flow is not affected, however the exhaust manifolds and stern drive are affected.I beleive I will need to use my outdrive muffs to induce the neutra salt to the stern drive. Will this system have a positive affect on these parts??? Is the water pump intake hose 1 1/4"???
