Getting all my parts together to install a Floscan and went to boat store for fuel fittings. Floscan guide says do not use teflon tape, use fuel proof pipe thread sealant.
All west marine carried was teflon tape. They even have it in the fuel section.
So I went to auto parts store and all I found there was something call Permatex thread sealant with teflon 14A. It's not tape, but it doesn't say fuel proof anywhere.
Anyone know what the right stuff to use or if this permatex is good?
I added the link, though I am not sure boatfix will approve.
