Not sure of the best way to get this info out there so figured this is the best way to contact the local boating community.

For those of you who know my dear friend Matt Rabinowitz, who works Saturdays at Surfside 3 at Pennybridge Marina, his father has been ill the last 18 months or so. Matt just let us know that his Dad has passed away.
 
Thanks for passing this on. Matt is my dock mate at MYC, and I will pass this on to the membership.
My heart felt condolences to his family.
 
So sorry to hear this. Matt was so close to him and I know this is hard on him. Our prayers go towards him and the family.
 
So sorry to hear this, he was docked behind us for a few years and always friendly to talk to. I know he was close to his father so this I am sure is difficult for him. If you see him please offer my condolences.

Yes he was very close to his father. They have a business together and a boat too so they were rather inseparable. 12 days short of 1 year ago a group of us were celebrating with Matt and Alyssa at their wedding remarking how great Matt's Dad looked. The same group was together again Sunday to support Matt at his Dads funeral. It was almost surreal.
 
Very sorry to hear this! Matt is a nice guy and I have met his dad they both seemed to be in their glory on board the boat. I don't know that Matt reads the forum but I will be sure to wish him my condolences next time I see him.
