Not sure why I'm posting this while my boat is still in the water. Perhaps it's the pending depression of being pulled this coming Monday.

Anyway I was thinking that when I first came to boatered 5 years ago, the HRCC group used to do a winter get together.

Anyone up for trying for one this year? Might help get through the cold, dark, boat-less nights of winter....
 
John with all the parties and events we all have been going to, I think it's covered.
 
Maybe sometime after the Super Bowl (that the Jets are going to win).

IIRC, George used to set it up, and Butch would win all the door prizes.
 
Rommer, if it will make you feel better, I could post weekly pictures of boating in my area. I would hate to know you were depressed all winter while I was out on the beach or enjoying the water. I actually spent about 5 hours out today (weather was perfect, nice breeze, few clouds and a high of 90 degrees)and have trip planned for tomorrow. I will post the pics in the Tampa forum for your viewing pleasure.[}}:-|>>]

Maybe a group meeting in Tampa during Gaspirilla would be in order. This year Gaspirilla is the same weekend of the Superbowl (which is in Tampa too).

I have a couple of connections on tickets....but I can't make any promises at this time. I would be happy to pick them up, provided we could locate a set or 2.

Been on the boat since late yesterday afternoon. Foggy, rainy and cold. Still a better day than being at work!

Eighties lately. Walked on the beach at Daytona, etc..
 
White caps heading towards SPBM for a while. A real crap day if you ask me. Engines, trannies and genny are put to bed. AC/heat is done as well. After showers in the morning the water system goes bye-bye too.... :(

You know, now that I think about this get together, it may not be a bad idea. Caryl's cleaning supplies is getting low.

As I recall she made out good with some other supplies also!

What are you folks doing to us? It was 40 last night!!! We traveled far to get away from this and what do you do? You sent it down here so you wouldn't have to deal with it. Count me out on the G2G. ;)
 
That she did Dan. I seem to recall someone else doing well also....
 
Yeah, we hit once when you dropped your guard :D. But you folks got away with my collector's edition of boating on the hudson.
