Unlike most other plotting software the iPad Bluechart app does not allow you to create routes that embed waypoints you created, it allows you to build routes using waypoints you created as position guides for routes you build.
So lets say you have created a series of waypoints for two or more routes and you want to use one waypoint as the start position for each of the routes. What you will need to do is tap your finger over the waypoint you want to start your route from and when the radial menu opens touch the button that looks like three dots connected by lines with a plus sign below it. That will open the Route builder. Now hold your finger on or near the waypoint you want to start with and a green circle will appear. Now, use your finger to drag the green circle on the screen on top of the waypoint you you want to start with. When you get close, the green circle will snap to the waypoint and the middle of the green circle will change to the waypoint color (blue) when you lift your finger. Now move the chart to the next waypoint you want to use in the route and touch and hold your finger on or near that waypoint then move the green circle till it snaps to that waypoint. Continue adding green circles that snap to the waypoints in your route till you have completed your first route. Now rename the route at the top of the route builder dialogue and then touch done. To create a new route that uses your previous route starting waypoint just follow the same process by tapping your finger over or near the waypoint you want to start from and follow the same procedure till you have a new route. Rename it and tap done and you will have two separate routes that have the same exact starting point even though the waypoint(s) you used are not embedded into the created routes.
Keep in mind if you previously created a route without having created waypoints to define route leg positions you will not be able to create new routes that have the exact starting position (or other common exact positions) because when you open the route builder it does not show any other previously saved routes, only the route your are actually building. It is best to use waypoints to define positions if you want to use common exact positions.
