I read that you have a 83' Tri Cabin. I am looking to possibly purchase a 87' Tri.
It needs full updating and has had many water leaks from being stored outside in the water. Low hours on everything and most everything is very fixable as I love to restore.
My biggest issue with it is the Starboard side deck beside the Aft window is soft about 6' long. I assume it is from water leaking in from the handrails screws being lose and not sealed.
I read where you said it can be an issue on the tri cabin but the side walk ways are easy to access. Can you speak more to that and how to access them underneath so that I can check on the rot before I buy it?
Any information you might share would be helpful. I know rot is ALWAYS more than you can see from outside so I want to go into this VERY informed before even making an offer./
We love the layout of the boat and we owned a F44 Trojan about 3 years ago so we know the quality. Just worried about what I might jump into. Don't want to get too far over my head.
