Where a good place to get "good" gas on or near the Forked River? Thanks

No, just have never gotten gas in that area and was trying to find out if there is any gas dock I should avoid. Planning to head in that direction tomorrow and gas up before continuing
 
I like to buy my gas at Southwinds, which is the first gas dock as you are going up river from the bay. My thinking is that they have to highest turnover of gas, and therefore it is less likely to have problems. I have bought gas from Silver Cloud too, however, which is the furthest upriver, and have not had any problems.
 
Tides End just past Southwinds, right now at 4.04. Discount for sea tow members. Gas turn around is good. They get a del about 4 times a week. Also nice ppl there
 
I agree, Tides End has nice people. And 4.04 is cheaper than Southwinds. Maybe I will start going there.
 
Don't know your final destination or your range, but if you can hold on until you get to the Manasquan, Clarks Landing had gas this past Saturday for $3.92/gal.
