Gear Ratio

Blew out my stbd outdrive and I am ready to order a new unit but do not know the gear ratio
Info: '89 Santego 2767, 4.3l MerCruiser, 190 h.p. Alpha1 drives
Any help out there?

if they're 89's they're 180 HP, but that doesn't affect the ratio...I believe it is 1.84:1, but I'll have to check...I'm working tomorrow, so I'll try to remember to check it for you

Oops...sorry I misread your post earlier...I see now they are V-6s, so they are 205HP each...I'll definately have to check the ratio at work tomorrow

I confirmed the ratio...it is 1.84:1...the 4 cyls were 1.98:1
