Ever have a hard time installing the GEN II type rams because of the plastic bushing? It gets very tight because it shrinks from corrosion .Get a 3/4 inch wire brush ,the ones that clean copper fittings work perfect.
Remove the plastic bushings, clean the holes with the wire brush, apply some grease and re-install the bushings.
