Hi Everyone....

Its me again, the die hard romantic....

Does anyone know of a captain that performs wedding ceremonies on boats? I can't wait much longer and if the weather is agreeable, i might be getting hitched this weekend. The 2006 360 Sundancer we have has incredible sentimental value and I want to be married on it in the bay.

Can anyone recommend a captain that can perform a ceremony? We'll do biger one in weeks to come but for now, we just wanna get married.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan

I know there is a chapel by sea in Freeport on the Woodcleft Canal. Maybe they could do it for ya, or put you in the right direction.
Good Luck

I would not recommend that chapel in Freeport. They also do knife-throwing lessons, and have a full sized cow statue in the chapel area!

Your boat is one year old and you have that much of a sentimental feeling for it??? Do tell...

Hi B*U*B*B*A

Its a long story....i met my future wife online and we clicked immediately and due to varias events, we did not meet for quite some time. We did however talk everyday prob for 8 hours a day on average (i have the cell pohone bill to prove it).

Anyway, she knew of my love for boats and decided to buy me a 2006 360 sundancer while i was away on business in China. She poured alot of sweat and time and money into this deal and suffered through alot of issues that came with the boat. The engines crapped out en route back to Long Island due to lack of use and neglect and needed to be swapped with twin 420 HP High Outputs.

Anyway, it has tremendous sentimental value because while she was setting it up and staying in Jersey and I was in China, we fell in love.

Theres more but thats it in a nutshell.

She bought you a boat....... wow, every mans dream and then some

I can just imagine every RO reading your post with their jaws hitting the floor.

Understood, go grab a justice of the peace from the town and throw his butt on the boat and get married already she is a keeper.

I have the number of a judge we use to perform wedding ceremonies in the catering business, I will send it to you when I get to my office tonight.

Congratulations!

Being that it sounds like you are in a big hurry, I thought you would have needed to call Billy Idol for advice.... for that "white wedding".

Anyway kidding aside, much luck to you and your new to be bride.

Brad

P.S.
You should have made those crab cakes and put a few ounces of Beluga caviar on the side of a solid gold plate.

I would love for my just to buy me a dinghy let alone a 36' boat.

Good luck

Alan, I am an ordained minister (I clicked "OK" on an interent site somewhere) and have performed several marriage ceremonies. I am rather busy this weekend, but could possibly help out some other weekend if you are still in need. Please feel free to contact me. Les has my contact info.

I dunno, seemed like he just wanted to do a quick ceremony this weekend, then do the whole party thing at a later date.
