This afternoon the water pool is 1074.92' almost 4 feet over full pool. More rain tomorrow. Water coming in at almost 40 times the outflow rate. Feast or famine! Docks are breaking loose all over the lake. Just had to put on my waders and go let out more cable. I am at the max now on cable for my piers. I can stand 6 more feet but that would be a WOW moment.
 
I think you are looking pretty good this year for some good rain.
 
looking good so far, but doubt reservoirs will even make it to 50%
 
Send a little of that down to St. Augustine. 2 inches of rain in the last 2 months. Getting bad here too.
 
Perhaps the Georgia/Florida water war will abate for a while, and the Apalachicola Bay oysters can begin to recover.

The Central Valley in CA, only got 2 to 3 inches per year for the last 3 years.

I would not recommend any cruising on Lanier right now. Way to much debris floating around.

Fill in the Boggs cut and they will recover.
 
Joey, you rounding up any loose docks?
 
No, I been traveling a bit and decided to take some time off. We don't move docks, we leave that to the dock companies.
 
Stopped by Bald Ridge this morning. All the ramps to the docks are under water as is the ramp to the fuel dock. So no fuel.
 
Sorry to hear and surprised. I was in ATL last week and noticed Hartwell seems down 5 or so feet seems they could control it a little better. I was expecting Norman to be up, but it is at 99.7. I know when I was a kid, our place at Lake Summit NC, occasionally would get high, all the docks are fixed on that lake, and it would be a real problem, with water a foot or two deep over your dock. The rain in the carolinas and GA the last 10 days has been relentless.
 
We have all floating docks on Lanier but the gangway from land can only take so much. I positioned mine the other day for 1071-1073. Obviously it became submerged. I had to put on waders to get out to let out more cable on the poles to allow the dock to rise more and the water topped my chest waders! Zing! What a feeling!
