Glossary of Marine engine terms

Having taken Wood Shop instead of Auto Mechanics I am quite lacking in understanding some of the terms used in the forum. eg. stern drive, impeller, gear case, some acrymyms as well.

I would like to study up, is there any place that would have a glossary of terms for marine engines, mainly I/O. Thank you.

I'd suggest that you pick up a repair manual for your engine - it will have terms and photos.
