I just got the official word that I will be attending the Annapolis (MD) Sailboat Show this year, but not the Powerboat Show (it's usually the other way around). The Sail Show runs from October 9th to 13th. If you'll be attending the Sail Show, stop in and say Hi. The Raritan booth is in Tent "B", on the end near City Dock (water side).

Can we all bring our toilets for you to fix when we stop in to say hello? thanks.. :)

Hi Vic!

Sorry I won't see you this year. I only attend the power boat show.
Maybe I will see you in Atlantic City next year.

Might get there. West M, is showing at the sail but not power also. They wanted to move their booth between shows, and the expense for the move was out of line,,so just sail. Don't know yet if I have to go yet or not.
Lewnes' still busy after expansion, but not much else new. The West I work at has a large beer/liq. dist. beside it, and they are doing a parking lot tent for pwr. bt. show,,at $5.admission, for 100 different types of beer tasting. I might not make the pwr. bt. show either.

For any attending pwr. Navy home game on Sat. Parking is moved to Riva Rd. with buses.

Have "THEY" decided about the houseboat show in Louisville in February for you???

Dusty, Raritan will be at both shows in Annapolis, but I'll only be there for the Sail Show. A different crew will be there for the Power Boat Show.

Danny, as it stands now, I won't be doing the HB show in Lou-a-vul. However, nothing is cut into stone just yet.

You're right Vic,,,I went to work at 3am today and got 8 pallets,,just for the show, then found out they are going to be at both shows! Changed their minds!
Two fellows that have been involved with the show for yrs,and haven't been recently, bid to put on the shows when the current lease expires, which is something like 2013. They promise more revenues etc,,however the city right now is saying why fix something that ain't broke.
Hope you have good weather.

Sorry, was just trying to be funny..I won't bring my jabsco to the booth

TIC - A Jabsco? Hush yo' mouf! That'd be like bringing a Chevy to a Ford dealership for repair. [:-bonc01] [:-bonc01]

Craig, I'll miss your smiling face...!

Hey Vic,

How was the sailboat show? Sell any crappers to those blow boaters?

Hi guys,

I'm back. The Sail Show (from my perspective) was a lot better than we'd feared it'd be. We had good attendance every day - On Friday our booth was loaded up all day long; it was practically a zoo. The PHII and the new, soon-to-be-released Marine Elegance head attracted the most attention from the blow boaters. Check out the Marine Elegance here: http://www.raritaneng.com/images/raritan2.swf
It is an all-new product, one step up from the SeaEra, and sure looks like it'll be a home run for Raritan. (Try and ignore the typos and spelling errors in the presentation - we know they're there, but we wanted to get it onto our web site before the boat show season started in earnest). We'll get it spiffed up later on... Production of the Marine Elegance is scheduled to begin November 15th. They should be at the various distributors by the first of the year.

This year we tried something different. Our local dealer (Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard) sent some folks over and were selling KO, CP and miscellaneous parts from our booth. They already have a mercantile license, sales tax account, and all of that. It worked pretty well, and we're gonna do it again for the Power Boat Show this coming weekend. Plus, they were able to schedule installations, etc., to help keep them going during the slow winter months.
