Going to Roundout this weekend

We are heading to Roundout this weekend. Staying at the Roundout Yacht Basin. We are heading up Friday night and staying until Monday. Weather is supposed to be good as well. Stop buy those that are from there. I hope the pool is warm for the kid and mom.
 
Across the creek. That is near the town dock. We have a bunch of people staying there as well (8 boats at the town). We have 4 staying at RYB.
 
You'll have a good view of the fireworks Sunday night at the marina...!
 
Hey Rob, I think I saw you going up last night, around 6:15 in the Newburgh area? Is there a boat named "Flipside" in your group? I was on my way down to West Point and saw a few boats headed North including at least 2 Rinkers. What a gorgeous night although it is obvious what toll the high gas prices have taken on the boating public.

We had a good time in Rondout.

Dan - It was nice meeting you. We may head up that way again at the end of July.
 
Same here Rob. By the way we have some cigars on the boat now. You caught us on the downside of taking a break. It's good to hear that things went smoothly this time even if you had to wax the outside of the boat while you were busy on vacation.

Rondout Creek is ABOUT 75 miles north of NY Harbor on the west side of the Hudson.
 
Great because we are interested in trying it. I dunno. Busy here and there and it slipped by this time. But that sounds like a great deal based on the enthusiasm.
