I've got a Good windlass that I want to replace my anchor line in. It's model CFD.
My question is about the replacement line.
For obvious reasons Good recommends their own brand of line but it's pretty expensive compared to a lot of other lines on the market.
I wondering if anyone has replaced theirs with another brand of line and if they had any problems.
I'm not looking to use the cheapest line around but I also don't want to pay top dollar if I don't have to.
I know one of the problems with cheaper lines is that they get stiff and won't coil properly after coming through the windlass so I know I need something that will stay soft.
Any advice?
