Im in ct and we have been having heavy rain well I decided to check on the boat a 2001 2655. Under the front cushion their is a storage compartment that also gives acces to the bow eye well that compartment was a litlle over half full. Upon inspection I found the problem who ever owned the boat before me installed a windless and routed the wires for it through that front compartment (this sites lower then ancor locker) and came up through the bottom of the anchor locker so the hole for the wires is lower then the anchor drain hole. If I can seal the hole where the 3 wires pass through and it does not leak then then the water should run out of the anchore locker leaving not standing water in anchor locker or lower bow compartment. The biggest trick I see is making a water tight seal at the hole with the 3 wires their. Any ideas?
I could rerout the wires but that will be a fairly big expense as I would have to by the tools and about 20ft of wire ect. I would like to avoide this if I can.
