So... I've had the boat for just a week or so and I'm of course eyeing electronics already...
I'd like to add a very basic (nothing fancy) GPS/plotter, and ideally I'd like to be able to use it at both the upper and lower helms. I very much do not want to buy two separate units. Any suggestions?
I was thinking of something like the Garmin 276c, for which I could buy a second mount and a remote antenna. At the upper helm, I could use the built-in antenna, and at the lower helm I could attach the remote antenna. Does this sound reasonable? Any other ideas?
