This past weekend was one of the best weekends for boating in a long time. Weather was great, the Bay was calm, at least the Eastern Bay. No debris yet in the area but was told that the Bay from Rock Hall to Annapolis looked like a logging channel.
Spend Saturday at Shaw Bay off of Wye for the yearly concert held off the back of a boat....can't remember name of group from Annapolis but great Chesapeake lyrics and they have been doing this the second Saturday in September for last 10 years....Spent Saurday nite, all day Sunday in St. Michaels...only 4 boats in mooring area, least amount I have seen in a long time....
Ahh, the Bay in September thru November....doesn't get any better than this.
