If anyone needs canvas work done, I highly recommend Tony at AMC Canvas in Copaigue.

Last year Tony made a custom camper back for my 2006 SeaRay 270 Amberjack. There was no factory option so he made it from scratch. It turn out fantastic and totally changed how I use my boat for the better. He also custom made blackout curtains for the entire cockpit area.

This year I needed the rest of the original canvas replaced: bimini top and all the windows. He did a another fantastic job. In many ways it's better than the original factory canvas. He also did my father-in-law's full canvas at the same time on his 1998 280 Sundancer.

Perhaps the best part is he measured the boat on Sunday, and installed the new canvas on both boats on Thursday.

Good to hear that AMC is STILL on top of their game. I've used them on all my boats. They have ALWAYS been #1 in my book.

He added a camper-back to our Chaparral when we bought it. I've sent a few peoplke to him for canvas work. he can't be beat on quality, price, and reliability. (Tony, do I get my commission now?) Just kidding. Hy

Highly recommend too.
I am going to replace mine probably end of this year.

AMC and WAVES AND WHEELS !

Cant go wrong . Tony just did my back drop.... HE was not amused I was watching with my Camera;s

Tony should have made a little sunbrella lens cover first ....... :)

Yeah, ditto on AMC. He did a bunch of repairs for me on my last boat. I need to call him too, gotta get some Isenglass work done.

I love Frank at AMC ... wife tore the zipper off the valance. He's picking it up and repairing asap.

Frank fixed a hole in my bimini on a sunday, shop closed but he was there jamming out to the dead, no charge!
He is a nice guy.

Unlike you guys, I am not impressed. Frank expects me to chase after him so I can hire him and pay him money.

Nope. Job is going elsewhere.

They can be hard to get ahold of i will agree with that. However, they are on everyjob they do which i love.

They just repaired two things on my cover, while i waited and no charge.

IMHO.....If they are hard to get a hold of.... its a good thing.... because they are busy. If they where there every time you called.... and could be at your boat in an hour......that would scare me. Be patient.....they are worth the wait :)

Frank was at my boat at 730 last nite taking the torn canvas as promised. As any thriving business **** happens occasionally. Im pretty anal and Franks never let me down. Either has Waves and Wheels.

Like I said sometimes **** happened but the quality is 2nd to none !

Oh yea I love those guys ... Dean Rocks ! u need his number ?

Rob

Ill bite, not to hijack the thread but does Dean do that good of a job? You have a newer boat so its really just keeping up with it. How does he do on older boats?
