Hailing Carver2557

Yes Rick it's for sale....Times are tough...We have been eating Kraft Dinner and beans for 2 months now...I'm down to 84 pounds...The hydro is going to shut me off....Phone company is going to do the same....The welfare checks are slow coming in....I had to resort to finding smoke butts on the side of the road.....My great grandmother need an operation to have her breasts reduced and the family is asking me to help pay the bills, but I can't afford it...If I could only get 3 thousand for it I could keep the hounds from the door...Cutbacks are in order, so I cut back to 3 bottles of DARK rum per week...

Does that look like a Carver...Geeezzz I thought you knew boats....That's a Tempest...Mine is the one behind it...
The river is up so high that I need a boat to get to my boat...See you Saturday?????

Yeah yeah yeah! I was only yanking your chain. I know how much you luv your baby and would never sell it even if it meant pickin' scraps out of the dumpster behind the Quickie Mart! ;-) I need to find a widget. I lost my widget that hooks to the shifter cable that moves the gizmo that makes it go forward and backwards. I tried my Dad's metal detector but it doesn't seem to be able to find brass widgets in the grass. After that it's few minor maintenance issues, fuel it up (I was checking out the fuel fill on your boat) and we'll dunk it Saturday morning. We'll have to haul it up the road because the dam is still closed and I'm not payin' the Seaway Lock guys $20 for a 1-way passage.

We're getting close Wayne. Boat's moved from the backyard to the frontyard. Tomorrow's clean up day and paint the anti-fouling. She'll be ready to get her bottom wet Sat morning. What time are you getting to your boat?

The way the river is rising you will be able to drive it from the yard soon...
I'll be there from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening...

It's rigged and ready to go Wayne. We'll dunk it tomorrow morning. C'you mid morning or so, we'll probably stop at the Bridgeview for brunch.

Sorry we couldn't stay longer Wayne. Was just too tempting to get in some boating before the weather turned. The wind picked up pretty good after we left. Anyhow, we'll get together for a BBQ (on my boat) along the canal soon.

We stopped in to see you this afternoon Wayne and you were nowhere to be found! Toodled down the old canal and had a bbq dinner then slow putted around the river. It was a great evening. Oh yeah, just so ya know, I only siphoned 'nuff gas outta yer boat to get home! ;-)

Cheers! Maybe we'll get hooked up again some weekend soon!

Take the gas, but leave the Dark Rum...
I was there until 5pm on Saturday...???
Were heading for the Islands next weekend....Hope to find a spot...If not the anchor will do..

We were there probably a lil' after 5. Probably didn't miss you by much. How far up the islands are you going? We're thinking Brockville for an overnighter. So far we've had the head locks on the Galop canal all to ourselves this year. Still early in the season though.

We are going to head to Refuge for a night and then onto Mallorytown for a night or two...We have friends near Mallorytown with a house on the river, so we will be there for maybe a couple of nights...Wana join us at Refuge for the night?(or do you need shore power)...It will probably be Saturday at Refuge, but were flexible...

will see what the admiral says, she mentioned something about her company having a corporate thingy in brockville next weekend so we may be stuck in the marina, stay tuned

Stopped by to see you after supper tonight Wayne. Nobody was on the boat so I only siphoned about $100 worth of gas to get me home! ;-)

We took a trip down to the head locks for the day...We got back around 7, so we must have just missed each other...Very windy today, but nice and calm and quiet at the locks...BBQd some venison sausage and had a peacefull afternoon...Doc says remain calm and thats what we did...
Drop me an e-mail, I need to talk to you about some testing...I lost your e-mail address

Hey Wayne! Enjoying all the wind and rain? I don't think we have any plans for this weekend, do you want to get hooked up for a bbq at the head locks?

Rick:
Thanks for the invite, but I'm going to have to pass right now...
After the nightmare at Mallorytown on the long weekend when the dock cleats let go I have been doing some doctoring and have been going through some treatment, tests and doctor crap...Kinda weak and havent been posting on BE too much as my tolerance levels have dropped to near non extistance for just about everything I do...Can't seem to cope too well with anything right now...Not fun at all...
Catch you later and we will do the BBQ thing some other time...

Ok, take care of yourself. We might stop in at the bridgeview for brunch on Sunday if you're around.
