halogen lamps

I have a friend who has a 33 ft 1996 Sea Ray. He wants to replace a overhead cabin lamp.He can't tell what the wattage is we know it's a 12 volt halogen lamp does anyone know what wattage lamps they use on these boats.

Are you talking about the Overhead cockpit lights?

Best to replace them with the LED version.

These are the lights in the cabin above the couch and the galley. I believe there are at least four or more. Tom

I just found out from the owmer that he was told it's 5 watts.He already installed it and all is well.
