There are rental moorings, there is no "harbormaster" - just pick up a mooring and the owner will come by in late afternoon for payment, I think it's $20/night per boat. You can go all the back down the creek (stay in the channel) where there is a small country store.

Enjoy your stay there, it is a beautiful place.

There are 8 "Town" Moorings along the runway on your right as you enter that are marked in orange. Don't cut the last red marker. The guy comes around at about 6pm to collect the $20. There are however many private ones scattered about in the cove. Us locals use them all the time. Only once were we asked to leave as the owner came back to his mooring. You can then move to another - there is usually pleanty.

Enjoy the place - it's beautiful! I'm off to Block today - whowho.

Rich - saw your post re the river madness. How did the Hamberg experience go for you?

Spike -Thanks for asking ! We didn't go that weekend . My daughter got her braces last week and she was in pain...We decided to do day trips . Went to Thimble Islands instead , very nice place . Seen your pictures from BI , nice ! How long did it take you to get there from CT River ? I wish to go there one day with my family , maybe next year !
