Happy Birthday, USCG!

YAY!! It has to be a labor of love. Somebody has to save us from us!!
 
What a coincidence...on our trip from Montauk to Greenport this morning we were boarded just to the west of Gardeners Island within sight of Mark Cubans yacht Fountainhead. This is the first time in the 12 years we have owned our Regal we have been boarded. Quick and professional, just a bit of chit chat about where we were going and the strong thunder storms that had passed just a couple of hours before. We were running north and they south and after they passed us I took a quick look back and saw them making a 180. Somehow as soon as they flew by I had the feeling they would turn and board us. Congratulations to a great tradition of service.
