My starboard 7.4 is very hard to start. Once started and running about 30 seconds, it is fine. The port engine starts very easily. I advance the throttle once or twice and crank her over. Not a problem.

The starboard however is a problem. It is getting increasingly more difficult to start. If I advance the throttle once or twice, it won't even fire over. Almost like it was flooded. After 3-4 mins of intermitent cranking, it finally starts to sputter and fire, but very roughly. In the initial starting phase, if I give it gas, it starts to bog down. After running rought for 10 20 seconds it start to run fine. I warm them up at about 1500 rpms and then back them down to idle. After the first 15 or 20 seconds, it runs great.

Any ideas? I have some, but don't want to mention yet so I get lots of ideas from you guys if mine does not seem to be the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Adam
