Help ?? Sea Ray electical?

I have a 1991 Sea Ray 260cc 7.4l Bravo one, and it has an intermitent problem of stalling at idle. The interesting thing is that the engine doesn't just stall all of the gauges go dead to as if the key was turned of. I have replaced the battery switch the ignition switch. ensured a tight conecction at the main engine plug. Last season I even had to replace the batteries on the ramp. I realy need to fix this. My problem is that is doesn't happen often enough to diagnos. Oh one more thing. Last week while out I turned the ignition off and back on it made everything come back to life as it usually does. I was able to go all the way back to the dock and get the boat on the trailer. The worst time this happened it would allow me to start and motor for about 10-15 seconds before "dying". I know this seems long but I am really frustrated. It really makes going to Lake Powell a scary thought. Thanks Bill
