Looks like he only has a few days left to before I win. Tuesday should be the big day (I Hope).
 
No odds, it just that when you have absolutely no control over a situation things happen on someone else's schedule, not yours. Dave expected his swim platform early last week and still does not have it and Ben is expecting his boat delivery on Friday. I hope by the end of next week both Dave and Ben are happy campers...er, boaters. It is very frustrating when things don't happen when they were supposed to.
 
Yep, so many unknowns. It's gonna be a long week.

Oh, since we selling our plane and moving to the water we named the boat "Knot Flyin".
 
I made last minute changes that added time to complete so I lost a day. The shipping is like you said out of my control, but it is on a truck in route and I have a commitment of Tuesday for delivery but this too can change. The bigger concern is the install time before I can splash. Weather may play a factor in this as well. Since Hogan lost has Mojo I don't know who to speak to about this.
 
Trucks picking her up in the morning. Probably not gonna sleep much tomorrow night.

Do you have an ETA for arrival here?

BTW my platform is here but not installed I will be starting the install in the morning.

Well then you won the race Dave! My boat should be in the yard early afternoon Friday. Ray's coming out to meet us and take her for a spin.

If you are in on Friday I would say you win. Enjoy your ride and best of luck with the boat if it's half as nice as the picture she a beauty. I look forward it seeing you on the water.
 
Bummer. Boat's still in MI. Trucker didn't get the permits in time to leave today. Looks like Monday will be happy day now. Gonna miss the excellent weather this weekend.
 
you and me both. I started the install and ran into a few problems all of which I will over come but will take a few more days and maybe a custom bracket or two. The hard part is done it is mounted and looks great, but will take a few more days to complete. the good news is me davit seems to clear the platform to launch the dink, this was a big concern that I thought I what have issues with.

I sorry to here of your troubles but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Here are a few pictures of the project status.

Dave, didn't you order the same number of braces that I have? Why do you feel you need another?

I screwed up I should have measured the distance between your mounts and had the swim latter placed in between. I didn't consider the fact that the ladder is recessed and interferes with the placement of the mount I had to move the outer mounts in and this is giving the outer corners even more room to flex. I have spoken to the company that made it and we are considering a few options which I think will make it even stronger when I done, however now I will be waiting for additional parts but I getting them locally so it wont be too bad. They did a great job of reproducing the brackets that you have I did a poor job of designing but I'm sure I will be happy when I'm done. My biggest concern was loosing the use of the davit and that doesn't seem to be a problem so I happy some things went well.
I have no issues with the company that made the platform they did exactly what I asked of them and did it incredibly fast. The shipping took longer the production the mistakes were on my end not theirs. I can't wait to so it done.
 
Argh. I was wondering why you'd need different braces, noting the pic that showed four. Bummer.

My boat's in Penn. He'll be there until Mon morn and should hit the marina at 11a.
