any members boat on High Rock lake in NC?
I'm heading down for a long weekend to visit friends I'm looking forward to spending lots of time on the water. They have a new tritoon and a new jetski t plan to help put some hours on them to help brake them in.
Hope to do some fishing and just have some fun in the sun!

Absolutely beautiful lake enjoying the visit unfortunately I threw out my back two day ago while fishing from the dock. Sadly I didn't hurt myself reeling in a big fish my back went out standing up from a chair while a small wake hit the dock. I can't blame the wake it was nothing to speak of just my back tighten and now two days later it still hurts. I was hoping to go jetsking but thats off the table for now.

I have had back issue "muscular " for years it comes and goes.

I had horrible spasms one morning and it took me 1 1/2 hours to get out of bed. Had to crawl off backwards in a crouch and then could stand up. Doc at walk-in clinic prescribed Valium. I was surprised and skeptical, but it turns out it's an excellent muscle relaxer. Worked like a champ. YMMV.

I had my DR call in a prescription for a muscle relaxant, this helps but knocks me out! I'm feeling better today but far from a %100. I have one more day and I'm heading home tomorrow evening. I'm trying to make the best of it.

Do you mind sharing what your doc prescribed? I had a script for Soma, years ago, but it wasn't very effective...and as it's name suggests, put me to sleep.

I've been down this road in the past so I knew what to ask for.
Cyclobenzaprine is a prescription drug used short-term to treat muscle spasms. It is usually used along with rest and physical therapy. It works by helping to relax the muscles. Cyclobenzaprine is available under the following different brand names: Flexeril, Amrix and Fexmid.

A cousin "benzo". Good to know. Glad it's effective. Those pain/spasms can take you to your knees.
