Took a ride last Saturday to find this place.
I saw they advertised they had boat slips for dock and dine. We located it, but the place looked like it was down a very narrow canal that was accessable across the large expanse of water that did not seem to have alot of depth to it. It is located just North of the Babylon town pool.

Anyone ever been there by boat?
Can you get big boats in there?
Whats the path to get in there from the channel?

Thanks.

Oh, is the food any good?

We've been there by car a couple of times. The food was good. Not memorable, but good and I think they had some good specials. Can't help you out on the depth but FWIW, all of the boats that I've seen docked there are smallish - up to 23' kind of thing, a lot of outboards.

Been there by car & boat. Food is good. They had a prix fix earlier in the year which was a good deal, not too expensive. It is near the Babylon pool. You wont get a big boat in there. I take our 21' Mako in there. As ronp said 24 or 25' is the biggest to get in there. Dave your boat wont go.

The Hook is definately a small boat destination, or by car. Do not cut the point by the pool short on the east side. It is very shallow. Give it at least 100 yards and more at low tide. If your going to go by car you might as well go to Pier 44, much better food and drinks. Tell them you know Billy and Marie to get special treatment.

We had a large gathering eat there a few months ago. Everyone liked the lobster special, some had baked others had steamed. One of our friends came by boat, a 19' bow rider. Overall, IMHO the place is pretty good.
