No better feeling than getting my boat out of my yard and into it's slip for the season. And a new slip at that. No more dealing with Brewers and the poor customer treatment I received in the 3 years I was there.

Now I just have to deal with the list of things that have mysteriously broken or been damaged as the boat sat under shrink wrap in my back yard. Go figure...

Congrats. I'm still wrapping up my sanitation system overhaul and putting the boat back together. I have been knocking items off the list though. Business trips have robbed me of boat prep time as well. Still have to commission the engines, buff and wax the hull, etc.

I'm shooting for two weeks from tomorrow.

oh yeah, where are you now? My frineds moved to Brewers in Bullock's cove and other friends are in bullocks cove mairna (the one just inside the cove on your left as you come in.

Scott,

It was a scramble getting in for me too. I thought Memorial Day was next weekend and I always try to be in by then. Then I found out it was early this year! But you're not missing anything, plenty of time for Potters...

I managed to get a slip at the Barrington Yacht Club. Just joined last year but thanks to a lousy economy, I moved up the list pretty quick. I won't miss Cove Haven and the yacht club is much cheaper. On the good side with cove haven, the facilities are nice, docks are clean and well laid out. But without trashing them on a public board, I was treated very poorly for bringing in an outside mechanic. It's not against Brewers policy but I was treated pretty shabily for someone paying $3300 to keep a boat there. I could go on, but maybe I'll save it for a beer at Potters.

I like Bullocks Cove Marina, lot's of normal people in normal boats. The times I've been over there, it seemed like everyone was very friendly and knew each other. Nothing fancy but seemed cool.
