Hot start of 7.4 MPI engines

I am having some trouble starting my starboard engine when it is hot. It always starts when it is cool. It is positioned next to the generator, which we keep running for air conditioning. Could the problem be in the fuel pump? Could it be vapor lock? This engine is fuel injected. Thanks.

You are correct about the engine forum. But this is an issue on my Sea Ray.
