I cruised over to Robert Moses with the family for the day (on Tuesday). We were the only boat in the basin. It was free to dock for the day (Monday thru Thursday). After a great day the wife asked, "Could we dock on Fire Island and find a hotel to spend the night?". (I have a 19' boat) Are there places to stay on Fire Island that are walking distance from where you can dock your boat?
