We are preparing to buy an inflatable dinghy, probably a mercruiser 270 air deck with a 9.9HP engine.
We have a slip with two finger piers (backedin) For those of you with Dinghies, what do you do with them when you are not on the boat. I am thinking about theft as well as protection.
I thought of the following questions
1. When you take your dinghy to the shore and tie it or beach it, is there any kind of lock?
2. If you are a weekend boater, what do you do with the dinghy during the week?
3. Do you take the motor off the dinghy when you are not around?
4. For something like the air deck, are they really made to be inflated and deflated regurlaly?
