We are looking to purchase a Regal and boat in the Punta Gorda FL area. Water can be choppy here and would like to know if the Regal handles rough waters well? Will people in the bow get wet?

Perhaps a little more information as to size and model you are considering

If it’s an open bow, it is very likely people in the bow may get wet. A lot will depend on size of boat, size of chop, and operator skills.

Never ridden in a Regal, but have crossed Charlotte Harbor many times. It does get choppy. My 23' CC handled it ok, but still got wet.

Owned a 2000 Regal 2660 Commodore twin Mercs for 23 years on Lake Michigan.
IMHO, Never a bow rider for any open water boating!
That said, Regal is among the finer boat manufactures around! Well built and can handle most anything.

It s probably not going to be better or worst than most boats that size. Regals are decent boats and frankly most small boats can handle the chop from 10 kts breeze
