HI,

you guys have been so helpful.
I found another 330 in my price range, getting survey done tomorrow. been talking to boat haulers and most are saying i might need to lower radar arch. How hard is it? what does it entail

thanks

Larry

I had a 94 330 DA. It was hauled (Florida to NY)with the Arch up with no problems. The carrier had a low to the ground trailer but nothing looked unusual?

We had a 91 37 DA hauled Florida to NY with the Arch up with no problems with hight, we did have to remove the Radar scanner and have a follow up car because of beam over 12'

Get the spec sheet for your boat so you know the exact height of the arch. They should know how much of the "V" shape they can reduce if they have a boat trailer? If they are usuing a flatbed type they may have a problem with height. In this case get a boat hauler guy with a boat trailer.

spec sheet from sea ray say 13'1 keel to top of arch
shippers have said 13'2 is height of bridges in ct which is issue since the trucks are bout 15" high

I forget the angle of the Arch on the 95? If I recall it was the year they made it arch forward? Anyway, one foot too much should not be a problem. Have them block the end of the boat either up or down to lower the angle of the arch one foot. Not too complicated if they think about it?
