Just a word of caution to anyone traveling under a brige being painted. Before they start painting they sand blast, while traveling under the Robert Moses Causeway inlet span years ago we all got a face full of rusty sand as well as the boat getting a nice fine coat of the same. Took quite a while to clean it all off of everyting. The sand blasting was on the ocean side of the bridge and we were approaching from the bay side. Couldn't see them working and didn't see the sand till it was in our eyes, mouths and everywhere else.
