Hey guys, Iknow I am new at this but please assist if you can.
I have a stern drive omc with v-6 GM in a 1988 thunder craft. I am wanting to order some parts online for it since them seem to be the better price. If on the manifold it says GM 6269732 is that the ID of the engine or is it down by the water pump on the block that has T1079073???? I have gone to iboats but can't tell what part is ment for my engine. I am going to be replacing the alternator, water pump, thermostat and housing, water pump pulley, and the starter (possibly). I could use some help if any of you got it. I went to a shop near by and they where complete jerks to me. So I decieded to do the work and order the parts on my own, but hopefully with your help.
