Mike, always good to hear from you, sorry about the family problems but fight the good fight, keep the faith and stay the course.
Are you finding more people just want to get in the boat and go, not bothering about the waxing and cleaning? I've been able to hook up with the marina where I slip my boat and it has been crazy! Just when I see the end another job crops up. By the way, you might want to revisit your sentiments on the cyclo polisher. I have used it with MaxiClean and Buff Magic and it works wonders. Eats up oxidation and puts a mirror shine on the glass. They also have brushes for carpets and non-skid, yes it is expensive but it has paid for itself many times over.

Jonathan, have to give you props and thanks for the word about Buff Magic. You seemed so thrilled about how it worked and the results gained I would have been foolish not to give it a try. Yesterday a guy saw what I had done on an older (early 90's) Formula 27PC and hunted me down (might have something to do with his police officer job!) in the yard to do his SeaRay.
The cyclo polisher (www.cyclotoolmakers.com) is a dual head machine very much like the orbital polisher/buffer. The big difference is the motor runs at 3000rpm and is constant. While you can put a hand on a Porter-Cable 7424 and virtually stop the orbital action, there is no stopping this machine. It is not a new machine, having been in production for a bit over 50 years, with new technologies in pad development it is gaining new popularity. There are several grades of pads to use and they have a series of brushes to use on carpet and textured surfaces. I have found it to be the answer for cleaning non-skid, which puts the final touch on a job. As I said it is expensive - especially when compared to warehouse machines - but I use my tools to make money so my slant on "expensive" is different.

Yeah, a big issue, the Cyclo Polisher is a pound an a half "lighter" than the Makita or DeWalt rotaries and a pound lighter than the PC 7424! May not sound like much at 8AM but at 3PM it is a big deal. Generous use of aluminum is to blame
