Well, as some of you know, my wife is prego with our first child and we found out yesterday that we are having a Boy...

Congrats, nothing quite like bringing a new life into this world. So did you go out this morning to buy 2 fishing poles, or did you buy a bat, a glove and a ball?

Thanks... Momma is feeling good (although she wanted a Girl..)
I haven't bought anything yet But I have found myself browsing the web all day looking at mini quads, mini snowmobiles, and stuff needed to baby proof the boat.
I am very siked as I am the one who was expected to keep the family name going, it is a weight off my back.
Not that I got "direct" preasure from Pops, but I know he is happy that I will keep the name going.

Nothing like having boys. There are so many things you can do with them as they grow up. I have the fortune of having two that are now 25 and 27. They are still involved with the things we do. They are both involved with boating, one has a go fast and the other one has a jet ski. Needless to say I now have my choice of toys on the water. They have given us many great memories and Im sure there will be many more to come yet.

Enjoy them as long as you can. Kids are really a great part of our lives....

Hooray!!!

My son drives me nuts, but he is worth it ;)...

Congrats! My son is 5 now and he has been boating with me since he was two mos. old. Don't blink - before you know it he will be on the bus and off to school.

We had both of our kids on the boat when they were each a week old. Now they are 16 & 12, and they still love spending time with us on the boat, and we love having them with us.

Boating is a great family activity.

Mikey's 16, geez what the hell. Where did time go.

I remember when he was just a wee lad Mike, now he's taller than you are!

Is he driving this year?

Jonathan

Yep, in two weeks - he's already taken driver ed!

He's getting older, but not me!

Just a note from a Dad here...don't use the term "Prego" in front of the admiral...don't ask me how I know...congrats... our oldest was on the water from 2 months on...

Hogan, we have a 17 year old, you want another one?......My wife is an only child and our son is an only child. We understand the family blood line pressure...he was so cute and small for so many years....then IT changed. Now we are living the cartoon ZITS....

Drivers license, car, girls...sigh

He is what has made our life rich. Like Pete, wouldn’t change a thing
Congrats…..Papa

Stan

Thanks all... She is due in July so we hope to have him on the boat at 3 to 4 weeks.

Kastlecreative - "Prego" is my wife's term so I think I am safe... Although with her mood swings things can change at a drop of a hat...

Stan, I know what you mean...

Thanks for the offer, but one is plenty for us to handle!

Mike, find him a girl and then its all over....ya right! who am I kidding. I ended up with another...

Congratulations....having kids was absolutely the best decision we ever made!

They keep us laughing and playing around. Just this morning, I woke up in a 50* house at 6am! Went out to get oil (duh!), the kids asked where I was, mom said "we have no heat and the boy went to fix it". They laughed hysterically and got back under the covers. When I got back, we had some laughs. Whowouldathunk....fetching oil in 9* weather would be so much fun!
