I think the boat show gave me the itch I'm having a hard time dealing with this weather. Spring can't come soon enough. my ticker clock says 2 months and 3 weeks so I guess in about a month and a half I'll start thinking about what needs to be done to ready the boat. Bottom paint and such. I wish I could take a long nap and wake up in Spring. I'm sure I'm not alone.
 
No, you're not alone. That's what everybody seems to say up there in Rip Van Winkle country.

Gee Jon, I thought it would cast a warm glow over the situation. Doesn't it bring back warm memories for you?
 
It does, but right now I am suffering jet lag from an 8 day trip to London.

Long travel day yesterday and laying on my boat right now soaking up some sun would be great to help out.

How has the weather been, winds lay down? Looks like it from that pic.
 
Jon having done Lisbon and Paris I can appreciate that. Actually last Tuesday and Wednesday were great. A little snorkeling off Sandy Cay and Pete's Pub for a brew. Took some rough stuff going back around through North Bar but we beat the weather back to Sea Spray. We just finished a two day 30 knot stint and we're considering the next spot to hang for a day.
 
It hasn't been that great in Key Largo either. During the cold spell we had two 36 degree mornings with 48 degree days. The water got down to 50 degrees causing a massive fish kill. Some sea turtles also died. The fish stopped biting with the cold water except on the reef where the water is 74 degrees. Out there you are close to the gulf stream. Most days I can't get out there because of too much wind. Now sea birds are dying from eating the rancid dead fish. I'm glad we have heat here. Some places don't.

That's just wrong no one should be aloud to have that much fun in the Winter while others are stuck in the cold like me.
The only travel I get to be is business to AC for CEU credits for the next few days at least I'll get to gamble in the evenings. Maybe even get to swim, Spring can't come soon enough.
