15 kts plus a good knot worth of current. Our 176 lbs Bruce hasn't moved a foot here behind Big Majors by Staniel cay since yesterday.

And that's with a 74' viking with full tower rafted on our starboard side, plus a 36' centre console...

All for $400!

Nice feeling, right? Lost power near Pickwick Dam on a windy day, deployed the anchor and hoped for the best. There was a happy ending. :-)

If the long range forecast models are correct you may get chance to really test it next week.

I know... But with NE coming back we ll get a better choice of anchorage and won't have anyone rafted up

Yeah once you get the proper, or even "oversized" anchor on board you sure do sleep better.

But I would hope event a loosy claw would hold in a meat 15 knots. #128515;

Bill... It s holding 70 + 74 + 36 for a total of 180' :) that viking 74 is rafted up to us... We got some solid 20 kts last night and some 180 degree swing pattern.

It s a fine line between brace and crazy :) but two anchor alarms and I slept up in the skylounge just in case as there wasn't much room to spare just in case ...
