I need to catch a lobster

Freedom looks better there than on the murky waters of the ICW in Norfolk when i saw her last!

No argument there eh Pascal? :D Hopefully we get some better photos soon. We leave for the east side of the Abacos shortly.

Look at mr fancy pants trying to catch lobsters....it seems just weeks ago he was on the Hudson trying to catch crabs!!

Good luck, glad you made it south....boy time flies when you're working. Thanks for the blog, at least I can enjoy YOUR retirement!!

Fancy pants? Ok. At least it's not a thong like some other folks. Time for happy hour. Hopefully the head straightens out.

Dan, Very nice ! You must be in heaven.

I was in NYC this weekend and can tell you the view of the hudson river was nice but not even close
to the paradise you've found.

Dan, rumor had it that you borrowed Pete's thong for the trip!

As we all know it ain't all rose petals gang. Still alot of outgo with very little income. We met one couple that took leaves to do this trip and they are hoping to have jobs when the get back!
Mike
Pete tried to sell it to me while they were in St. Augustine, but the price was too high and it wasn't big enough.

I met a guy in the Caymans who Beat one into submission with his snorkle.

If you're leaving for the east side of the Abacos, you'll be out of contact for a few days unless you have satellite. Where are you heading? We loved Great Sale. Allens-Pensacola is nice too (but the stars at Great Sale are something to behold). If you get to Allens, try the path to the Atlantic side. We marked it with and old bucket. It's about 100 yards to the north of the tiny old pier that's there.

We made it to Green Turtle, and the folks here are nothing less than terrific. We ate at their restaurant tonite and it's going to be difficult to dine out in the states again. They do an outstanding job. We're not talking illegal immigrant chefs here. We're talking trained pro's..

Never did find the path at Allen's. I must admit that we didn't look very hard.

Dan
Nice picture of our boat next to yours at West End. We are here at Boat Harbor at Marsh Harbour. All other pictures very good!

Hey Jim it figures you like that shot! :D
We're glad you made it over ok. We are now in a holding pattern here at the Green Turtle club with what appears to be a number of other boats. Since we planned to be here a while it's no big deal to us. I'm still trying to figure out what the Whale is all about. Given the light winds the day we came over from Great Sale it was a nobrainer to run that channel then but we had plans to be here.
I almost had a mutiny moment for a while because the crew swore I had chosen the wrong path (northern pass around Great Sale). I did not expect to pass you folks as early as we did because we were barely doing 8 knots and everyone had a good jump on us. Eventually we saw everyone in your flotilla approaching West End Point and I was granted a reprieve. Soon after that we thought you folks were going South of West End point heading east from Great Sale. I could see Our Time by the point for a while and when we looked over with the binocs a second time and did not see anyone we tried calling. Then all of a sudden we saw the pack of 4 heading east again approaching Fox Town? Maybe the shoreline was playing tricks on my eyes.

Joe thanks for the vid. I'm thinking they were in about 20 feet there. Not bad. Interesting in that they found one with intact antennae but came up with one that had none.
