I need Un-Upholstery Vinyl

I've looked for days trying to find marine vinyl that is NOT used for furniture upholstery. Instead, I need it for the "dashboard" underneath the windshield. I also want to use it on top of the storage cabinet that my helm and passenger seats are attached to. Where can I find this stuff?

Try an auto upholstery shop. No, they don't have "marine" vinyl but auto vinyl has to stand up to some rough treatment in a car. Baking in the sun and holding up under the weight of fat Americans. IMO, auto vinyl gets worse treatment than boat vinyl.

Should stick with marine grade vinyl as it has a fungicide which prevents mildew & pink staining from moisture. The only auto vinyl that would contain it, is the vinyl used for Landau & convertible tops.

Stay with marine grade vinyl. Other vinyls have a cloth type back that will mildew and rot. I've seen marine vinyl at some large fabric stores. Other wise check online.

My coaming pads were redone with "Marine Grade" vinyl that had a fabric backing. This adds add'l strength & tear resistance. I personally picked out the vinyl for this application.
