A slight bit of gentle pressure usually will relieve the check valve closure and create a free flowing pipe. Too much pressure could cause a back up and could last for days if not handled properly.

Good point......and ...if you pink thru the strainer.... don't forget the hose from the seacock to the strainer.

I saw your link about the "waste tank"

I prefer not to purge the "waste tank", I know some of you are into that, a good friend of mine,Ben Dover likes to do this, just not my gig. "Pink stuff" is the way to go in this matter IMHO.

Have you ever noticed that the pink stuff in brown containers suck much harder, another words they consume more, the pink stuff is more slow and steady in the white containers, but the brown containers really eat up that stuff quickly.

Took our last ride for the season last week (to the ramp) a little rough,windy but fun all the same got our 20' regal on the trailer then comes the fun of driving her home and squeezing her into our driveway(1.5 inches on either side lol). Her winter cover is on and the mechanic is coming by sunday to winterize the engine this year we are going to change the deck carpeting

If I had to go through all that winterization stuff, I don't think I'd bother to have a boat!
