I'm giving it some consideration. Right now I'm on a dry rack. The positives for me in moving to in-water storage would be
1. 45 to 50 minutes less cruise time to my favorite spot. (so less money on gas)
2. $200/mth less on storage fees.
I'm a little worried about my options in case of a hurricane, but what I really want to know is, what are the downsides to storing in water year-round? The marina I'm thinking of is on the ICW. I have a stern drive with neutra-salt flushing. Any helpful responses are greatly appreciated.
